Is it just me or is everyone already in the mood for autumn? To be honest, I am physically ready for it, after the endless heat wave over here in Germany, but at some point I still want to talk and dress for summer. And since it officially ends next month, I guess I still have a chance to express my summer feelings. Haha! What is summer without a recap of summer fashion trends anyway?
Wide Brim Straw Hat (with Ribbon Tie)
I feel like this hat is everywhere the whole summer! The fact that it is wide and made out of straw, it's also flattering with the ribbon tie. I am a small woman, and it's quite difficult to find a hat that fits my head as well. So when I found the right one, it makes me so happy! I think a hat with at least a 2- to 3-inch brim all around is ideal for summer because it protects areas that are often exposed to intense sun, such as the ears, eyes, forehead, nose, and scalp. My man has mostly sunburn especially on those areas because they are often forgotten or have small amount of sunscreen when it comes to applying it.
Vintage Gold Clip On Earrings
Vintage Gold Clip On Earrings
When it comes to jewelries, I mostly stick with the gold ones. I think it is amazing for my warm skin tone and it elevates every look insanely, like you can go with a black dress and wear something gold and it's a whole new outfit in a sudden. You know, keep your outfits quite simple and let the jewelry do the talking! Investing in a great pair of gold earrings is great if you want to wear them everyday, but the vintage ones are definitely beautiful as well! There are many to find on etsy and it's actually my favorite to buy vintage stuff.
Linen
It's crazy how linen made a cool return to become the must-wear fabric of the summer this year! I've seen the fabric since autumn/winter last year (bought one immediately! haha!) and I had a good feeling about it. It's amazingly comfortable and keep me cool in the heat. I think why linen is made for summer is because of the color on top of it! It's subtle, soft, and gorgeous it doesn't pop up when you want to wear bright colors like red or yellow. You know, you can wear them on beach days or road trip as well without you looking like you are trying too hard. I'd like to say: keep it simple is the key for the summer!
What do you think about these trends? And tell me, which one is your favorite? I wish you all a lovely weekend!

have an amazing day!
I do love to wear straw hats. A wider brim gives better protection against the sun. I read somewhere that every additional inch of the brim lowers our changes of skin cancer.
Hope that you have been having a great weekend :)
