Ways to Wear A Button-Down Shirt.

Happy Monday guys! I just got home two hours ago from a long day of work. Today was my third day and it went well so far. I just feel really exhausted because as I mentioned in the previous blogposts, I had a full month of vacation in July and all of a sudden I have to get back to work mode. It has changed my regular schedule completely and it took me quite a few days to settle back. The worst part is sleeping at the right time to be at work before 7 AM. Not that 7 AM is too early for me (I think it's a great time to start off the day!) but falling asleep before 11 PM just doesn't work after a vacation! And before I know it, I find myself waking up more than three times during night and taking a long time to fall back asleep each time. So I just haven't had enough rest and it's driving me crazy! I'm thinking to try to do some workout before my short shift (6h) tomorrow and hope that it'll work for me to be tired and get a good sleep again. So, finger crossed!

Speaking of work, it reminds me of how much I want to graduate school and actually be at a workplace. I just can't believe I am in this chapter now and that just gives me the feel of how fast 2019 is moving. How can it be August already? I'm quite surprised that a heat wave is *kind of* over and that breeze is coming. Truth is, I can't wait for Christmas to come with all those cozy sweaters and hot chocolates. I keep telling it to my man for weeks and I think he just can't hear more of that! Haha. But once the sunshine is hitting my face, it makes me realize how I still wish summer to slow down a lil bit. The other reason is to combine my button down shirt with another summer piece of clothes more often. I mean, what's not to love about it? It's one of the most versatile piece of clothes in the fashion history and you literally can rock any outfit with a button down shirt. The fact that it's linen is amazing! It also gives me that vacation vibes, even though I haven't had since three years.

If you follow me along on my instagram, you probably saw me wearing this beautiful midi skirt for I don't know how often and it has been my favorite in summer as well. The button-down just looks beautiful paired with this one and I absolutely love the look for Sunday strolls. Matched with pants would also add an elegant touch to the outfit and you can totally take this into a night out! What do you think? I wish you all a fab week! x

Until then.

I'm such a fan of button downs and the fact that this one is linen makes it a winner! I love the way you've styled it in this post, esp with the skirt!

I truly love this chic look; there's nothing so elegant as a classic shirt - especially when styled in this way! Also, can't remember if I've mentioned this before but your hair is SO chic!
